The LIFT mentoring programme has provided a great opportunity to meet versatile musicians and people involved in the music world. At the beginning of the programme, we discussed with Mihhail Gerts the issues related to concert programming and thought about our summer concert programmes. We also met with concert promoters and producers to hear their perspectives on what they expect from artists for a smooth collaboration. We also had a great meeting with Lisanne Altrov on music physiology, she helped us to open up on how to feel more confident on stage and how to cope with tense situations. I would recommend a meeting with Lisanne to all instrumentalists! And, of course, special meetings with inspiring performers like Christian Tetzlaff and Florian Donderer, and much, much more. As I live and study in Oslo, this programme has given me a great opportunity to be more involved in the Estonian music scene and I’m really looking forward to the summer concerts in Kadriorg!
