Composers have been inspired by responsories for the Time of Passion through the ages, as the emotionality of these texts allows Christ’s suffering to be experienced almost personally. The concert programme looks at the subject through the eyes of Pärt Uusberg and those of Carlo Gesualdo. Different times, perspectives and great contrasts will branch out before us.
