Swedish Wind Ensemble is the largest orchestra that is comprised of (around forty) Swedish wind instrument players, created in 1906. The artistic director of the ensemble is Cathrine Winnes, who took the place in 2016 from the world-famous trombone virtuoso Christian Lindberg. The soloist is Lauri Metsvahi, who is a member of ENSO as of the 2018/19 season.
