Opening of the residency of Tõnu Kõrvits at Eesti Kontsert promises to be a grandiose, and also spectacular. The composer plans to write a composition for an exceptional combination of performers – Gongs and Strings – that would fill the entire evening. At the concert, the composer plans to place the gongs in the form of a solar system in the center of the concert hall, and the audience will have the opportunity to sit in the “open space” and focus on its sounds.
