Trio Erik Rydvall, Olav Luksengård Mjelva and Ale Carr take listeners on a journey into the world of Nordic music. Traditional tunes blend with subtle influences from baroque music, creating a captivating journey through the musical landscapes of Sweden and Norway. 

Erik Rydvall is a beloved nyckelharpa player known for his technically skillful and expressive performance. Olav Luksengård Mjelva is a Hardanger fiddle player and a recipient of the prestigious Spellemannprisen (Norwegian Grammy). Ale Carr is a celebrated cittern player and member of the Danish group Dreamers’ Circus. 

As a duo, Rydvall-Mjelva has released several albums and performed at major folk music festivals across Europe and North America. Their music has also been used by filmmakers to add rich Nordic flavor to epic stories such as “The Lord of the Rings,” “Loki,” and “God of War.”
