Critics characterise her play as perfect, forceful in its precision, with excellent taste and resolute virtuosity. Jiyoon Lee was born in 1992 in Seoul, she started playing the violin at 4 years old, and her teacher in Germany was Kolja Blacher. She plays on a Petrus Guarnerius violin, made in 1730.
