Almost all young Estonian musicians today spend some time in different institutions of higher education in music around the world in order to be able to add to the depth of their knowledge. The time in which they study abroad is ruthless in a way, with the young individual – even an easily-adjusting musician – simultaneously having to mature as a person at the same time as they undergo their studies. They have to cope with a new culture and quickly learn a new language, and this can change one’s view of the world.
It is a joy to see and hear them all again on our Estonia Concert Hall stage. Welcome home!
