„Sudexpress – a passionate journey on the paths of baroque from Paris to Lisbon“
Programme:
Lully, Charpentier, Rameau, Couperin
Ludovice Ensemble is a Portuguese early music ensemble established in 2004 and operating in Lisbon. Sudexpress is the historic railway line connecting Paris and Lisbon. The musical journey includes influences from Russian folk music, African rhythms and colors, Parisian elegance, Spanish mysticism, the Maori, Jewish and Gypsy tunes and the bittersweet Portuguese love songs. This is a unique program strolling along the baroque paths with the hefty dose of southern heat and brings necessary passion to our nordic winter.
