The clavichord and psaltery are musical instruments with a quiet sound therefore mostly overshadowed by more powerful instruments. At the Night Concert, both these sensitive instruments are presented as solo instruments and ensemble partners.

But the clavichord and psaltery can also hide the richness of a larger dynamic scale, all they need is silence to fully blossom in their beauty.

Anna-Liisa Eller is a kantele player with a special interest in early music and contemporary creation. Taavi Kerikmäe is a performer and composer of free improvisation, electroacoustic music, and contemporary music.
