Ukrainian Kyiv Soloists were on a European tour when the war broke out. With no way back, they chose to use the music to support their country and fellow human beings affected by the war in their homeland.

“We play for peace. It is difficult to put our emotions into words. Our families are in Ukraine and we keep contact with them every day; with our parents, siblings and relatives. Our work is tough right now, but we play. Music helps us in this situation, and it is our duty to bring out Ukrainian culture.”

Anatoliy Vasylkivsky, artistic director of the Kyiv Soloists

The string ensemble is composed of renowned musicians from all over Ukraine. Together, they have gained success both with their performances of international composers’ works in their home country and interpretations of Ukrainian music.

* Ukrainian war refugees can attend the concerts for free. Your free tickets are available when providing/showing your ID or temporary residence permit only at the box offices of Eesti Kontsert in Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu.
