The Flanders Symphony Orchestra is one of Belgium’s leading orchestras, made up of dedicated musicians and conducted throughout history by highly acclaimed conductors on the concert stages of the world. The orchestra commissions and performs new compositions but is especially recognized for performances in the academic symphonic repertoire.
During its visit to Estonia, the orchestra will be conducted by its new chief conductor Kristiina Poska. The programme includes also the premiere of Estonian composer Ülo Krigul’s new work commissioned by the orchestra.
