The acquaintance and friendship of Johan and Justas began with two master classes organized by Justas, where Julian Martin, a professor at the Julliard School, and the legendary Andrey Gavrilov taught. They have performed as a piano duo for three years now, giving concerts in Estonia and Lithuania, St. Petersburg, and Brussels.
Johan Randvere is a beloved young pianist who gained wider recognition in the ERR TV competition “Classical Stars,” first as a participant, later as a presenter. Johan Randvere has won prizes in several music competitions and has been awarded the PLMF Young Musician Prize of the Musicians’ Fund in 2014. Randvere has given concerts in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, the Vatican, Belarus, Finland, the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. He has performed in various ensembles on world stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Chan Center in Vancouver, the Great Hall of the Minsk Philharmonic, the Great Hall of the Kaunas Philharmonic, and others. Johan Randvere is a member of the Estonian Piano Orchestra and the early music ensemble Heinavanker.
Justas Shervenikas is the winner of many international music competitions, performing at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, Klaipeda Concert Hall, Kaunas Philharmonic, Brest, Vitebsk, Steinway Hall in Aarhus, and many other European concert halls. He has performed with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Academy of Music Orchestra, and the Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra.
