The inspiration for this recital was to forge a connection between Estonian and Polish composers. Having spent the last two years studying in Poland, I have developed a particular fascination with the works of Karol Szymanowski. Arvo Pärt’s “Spiegel im Spiegel” provides a reflective bridge of sorts, uniting the creative realms of Szymanowski and Ester Mägi.
