Bach, Kliphuis

The Dutch violinist Tim Kliphuis is a frequent visitor to our stages. Everything he does is charmingly peculiar whilst being at the highest artistic level and emotionally touching. Previous cooperation between Kliphuis and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra has provided inspiring experiences for his stage partners as well as for the audience. The current joint concert project includes the new as well as the old. The audience will get to hear a new take of the timeless Bach Brandenburg Concertos, as well as the creative work of Tim Kliphuis created in coronavirus-era isolation and is a symbiosis of folk, jazz, classical music, and minimalism.
Delicious string arrangements, tasteful guitar accords, subtle jazz harmonies, ornamented Celtic melodies, and all this bundled together creates a unique, special concert.
