Founded in 2020, the Estonian Percussion Group explores a wide-ranging repertoire, from meditative soundscapes to rhythmically intricate, high-energy virtuoso works. Given the relatively limited historical repertoire for percussion ensembles, the group also makes inventive arrangements to expand the genre.

Tonight’s programme features compositions with a special focus on new Estonian music, enriching the percussion repertoire with fresh and innovative soundscapes. The ensemble has also been selected for the Estonian Cultural Endowment’s prestigious two-year residency programme.
