In September, the legendary Croatian pianist Ivo Pogorelich will appear at the Estonia Concert Hall with a solo recital, bringing to the stage a unique musical voice that has left a profound mark on the landscape of contemporary classical music through its originality and innovative approach. With a performing career spanning more than four decades, he is esteemed for his compelling interpretations, refined musical sensibility, technical mastery, and uncompromising artistic standards. Pogorelich’s programme centres on Bach, Beethoven and Brahms — the “three great Bs” of classical music — whose extensive works unquestionably belong to the golden canon of Western piano repertoire, while remaining strikingly distinct in character.
