Sergey Rachmaninov is one of the most important figures in the history of pianism. His rich and voluminous piano compositions are timeless and offer a lot of personal experience to the human soul. As a phenomenal pianist of his time, his piano playing still seems unbeatable even today. At a time when the world is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninov’s birth, it seems appropriate to bring his music together with the music of his companion of fate – Estonian great classic composer Eduard Tubin. Two great masters who fled the same fate and continued their lifepath abroad.

The year 2023 marks the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the birth of Sergei Rachmaninov.
