The last day of the year will be filled with music that takes listeners on a journey into the passionate soundscapes of Argentina and Spain. We present the Prezioso string quartet and the masterful bandoneon player Kaspar Uljas, with whom the ensemble has had the pleasure of performing before. Come, and enjoy the exceptional soundscape of colors of the strings intertwining with the enchanting sound of the bandoneon both with fiery temperament and poetic depth.
Founded in 2006, Prezioso comprises four musicians, all graduates of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where they received mentorship from Henry-David Varema. In addition to their quartet performances, Hanna-Liis, Mari-Katrina, and Helena play within the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, while Andreas is a cellist at the Estonian National Opera.
Prezioso’s repertoire is diverse, featuring classical works, modern compositions, and arrangements of pop and jazz tunes.
