The emotional singer, Hedvig Hanson, is increasingly moving in the direction of simplicity in her music, focussing on being natural. Simplicity itself, however, is delicate and deep. According to Hedvig herself, she would like to leave room for the listeners’ own imagination and perceptions by refraining from excessively exhibiting herself in music. Hedvig and the guitarist Kalle Pilli have found a common language in music-making, with the music being performed by their duo sounding pure and elevating. Hedvig’s original songs express longing, but also peace, her voice exhibiting motherly tenderness as well as feminine sensuality.
