Introduction

Performers:

Arvo Leibur (violin), Marianne Leibur (vocals, violin)
Taavo Remmel (double bass), Joel Remmel (piano)
Raivo Tafenau (saxophone, accordion), Ramuel Tafenau (drums)

The stage features musician-fathers with their children, and the experience and energy of two generations are tied together. Arvo Leibur, violinist of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, awarded with the Order of the Kingdom of the Netherlands by Oranje-Nassau, and her daughter, singer Marianne Leibur, who won the title of young jazz talent 2020 in the spring, will perform.

Undoubtedly the most mellow bass player in Estonia, Taavo Remmel, currently active in the ensemble Hortus Musicus, and his pianist son, Joel Remmel, who has just won the title of jazz musician 2020.

Active and productive saxophonist Raivo Tafenau with his son Ramuel Tafenau, who plays drums in several prestigious ensembles. The concert will feature a mixture of classics, jazz, and folk, tango, and musette – a little peek into the past and creating a new one.
