I “Music Squared”

Laura Põldvere (vocals, loopers)
Kusti Lemba (guitar, loopers)
Benjamin Vandewalle (artistic advisor, Belgium)

Duo Laura Põldvere and Kusti Lemba will guide the children to the world where pop music, jazz, electronics and improvisation meet. They will demonstrate how to make music with electronic means, using loopers. How is it possible for only two people on the stage to sound like there are three times as many people on the stage?

II “Everything starts with the first nail”

Silver Sepp (fantasy instruments)

Everything starts with silence and with almost nothing. There’s only one nail in the middle of the crowd. In such a hopeless situation, can music be played? Someone punches the nail into the tree and off it goes.

Sounds of Music are made both together and separately by a nail instrument made of a netting stand and of a tree stump, bicycle drums, water-filled bowl drums, bubble-water filled plastic bottles, skis, coffee cups, sewer pipes and what not, always staying rhythmic, cool and sounding good.

This is the big bang of Silver Sepp!

NB! Please arrive at the end of the Atrium of Creative Hub 10 minutes before the concert begins. The audience will be divided into two groups and will take turns going to both concerts.

The “Music Rooms” project is a traditional part of Big Bang. “Music Rooms” usually consist of two or three 15-minute mini-concerts. This time, the audience will be divided into two groups who will take turns in seeing two mini-concerts.
