The Terem Quartet has focused the unprecedented attention to Russian folk instruments. The music of the Terem Quartet is passionate and lively, live performances are theatrical and interactive with audiences. The musicians put their soul into performance, so nothing is left in reserve. This way, the world is always a better place after each concert.
Each member of the ensemble is also a composer, arranger and improviser, but groups´ original music is a collaboration.
“For those not familiar with this fantastic ensemble, the first encounter with the Terem Quartet is like a strike of a lightning – a dazzling, huge energy storm and high virtuosity take the audiences to yet undiscovered places.” (fRoots)
“The members of the ensemble present their instruments throughout their colour palette, and the musicians perform as if the sky is open to the listener.” (Leidsch Dagblad)
