Both Eduard Tubin and Eduard Oja were born in 1905, studied with the same teachers and were the most prominent young Estonian composers in the early 1930s. But in those years both composers were at the crossroads of their lives, leading the lives of men to completely different paths… The works performed at the concert are one of the most important examples of their genre in Estonian music.
