Brazil PianOrchestra is a group who uses unusual techniques for playing piano. The pieces performed are arranged so that the musicians play the same piano, using the keyboard and the inside and the outside of the instrument. The group, founded and managed by Brazilian pianist Claudio Dauelsberg, plays Brazilian music, both classical and pop music (Villa-Lobos, Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento), but also samba, bossa nova, coco, maracatu and ciranda folk tunes. The musicians are dancing, playing football, communicating with the audience, and everything happening inside the piano is projected on screen. This results in a captivating and surprising show that will please both children and adults.
