This contemporary dance production of „Indigo. Das Schliemann Projekt“ draws inspiration from the colourful life of Heinrich Schliemann, the 19th-century German businessman and polyglot who famously claimed to have discovered ancient Troy. Through a blend of movement, sound, and narrative, the performance delves into the conflicting accounts of his legacy, his restless personality, and the myths surrounding his unorthodox methods. The title “Indigo” evokes a sense of depth and mystery, mirroring both the cultural weight of the colour blue and the complex inner world of the protagonist.
Please note: This performance features intense lighting and sound effects. The stage set (blue ash) is not intended for interaction. While the ash is safe and settles only at the very front of the stage, we suggest wearing face masks as an extra precaution.
