Rachmaninoff. Trio élégiaque No.1 in G minor
Shostakovich. Piano Trio No. 2 in E minor Op. 67
Tchaikovsky Piano Trio in A minor Op. 50

The trio presents to the audience their interpretation of the piano trios clouded over by personal pains of loss of the three great Russian composers. The trios of this concert contain the entire emotional scale of human life and the grip of the composers’ ability to express, which is veiled by an elegiac sadness of loss. The three griefs of three piano trios.

The piano trio is perhaps closest to the ideal of a chamber ensemble: balanced sound power and timbres, an optimal number of musicians, and at the same time, artistic autonomy guaranteed for all three allows to achieve a unified result without dissolving the artistic personalities of the musicians.
