On the occasion of Arvo Pärt’s 85th birthday, a new version of the work “La Sidone” will be premiered in Estonia, the world premiere of which is planned for 8, September at the All-Siberian Art Festival in Novosibirsk. The new version is dedicated to Vadim Repin and Andres Mustonen, the composer’s long-time creative friends. During the preparation of the concert one of the greatest composers of our time – Krzysztof Penderecki, left this world, and his “Agnus Dei” will be performed thinking of him.
