With their extraordinary playfulness and high artistic quality, Ensemble Resonanz is regarded as one of the world’s best chamber orchestras. Their base is the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and the world’s first chamber music club St. Paulie – a ‘bunker’ where many innovative musical ideas were born.

The concert focuses on the main composers of the AFEKT festival featuring the music of Rebecca Saunders and Helmut Lachenmann – the absolute best in today’s music world – and the newest works from Enno Poppe and Helena Tulve.
