Big Bang Tallinn 2019
Children’s and Youth Music Festival Big Bang Tallinn 2019
17-18 November 2019 Creative Hub
From 17 to 18 November, the premises of the Creative Hub are filled with exciting sounds, workshops, and installations – the first Big Bang Tallinn will take place!
We are inviting children from 5 to 13 years old and everybody else who wants to discover and join the magic world of music in a playful key to participate in the festival. The festival will feature a concert performance “The World of Sleep Fairy”, mini-concerts of music rooms and an improvisation concert “Nomad: Drawn Sounds” with children’s participation. Children can participate in an exciting interactive workshop with artificial intelligence. The main guests of the festival will come from France, bringing with them a mischievous and humorous show of body rhythms “Soleo”.
Come to the festival with family, friends or class! Be part of this adventurous and playful program where kids can get involved and experience music in a free atmosphere!
The festival schedule is structured to allow the audience to participate in several concerts during the day. Many concerts are short, up to 30 minutes. Free concerts will take place on both days in the Atrium of the Creative Hub. Between the concerts, you can test and explore several exciting musical installations in the Cauldron Hall. A separate show is the installation “Love Song”, where Estonian children have recorded their “love song” in heart-shaped devices in the form of a song, a story or some other playful form.
The festival is part of an international cooperation network, so Big Bang music festivals take place in 13 cities in Europe and Canada.
The festival is organized by Eesti Kontsert in cooperation with Zonzo Compagnie in Belgium. The project is funded by the European Union Program “Creative Europe”. The format of the festivals has been developed and is owned by Zonzo Compagnie. The young presenters of the festival are tutored by Baltic Film and Media School.
